Last Sunday we had a visit to Bath - 5f 160yds, good to firm for Catheadans Fury having her fifth run on the track (2 wins). The handicapper had put her up 4lb for her recent win which was probably fair although we would have preferred less! The ground had been drying all morning and was quick by the time she ran. She finished 5th of 12 runners and the time was two seconds faster than her previous race, the winner being different class taking a liking to very quick ground. With a strange stumble early on in the race Catheadans Fury did really well to finish only 1.5 lengths from the second placed horse (the winner won by 4 lengths).

Olympic Legend was running well also on Sunday at Chelmsford but in the final furlong took a few false steps and went lame! He is back home with pain relief having sustained a sore right tendon. Such a shame for this to happen to a happy and enthusiastic little man who loved his racing .....we are all so sad we will not see him back on the track. However he will have a wonderful home to retire to in early spring.

Exceeding Power - update

More good news for Exceeding Power who after being involved in a lightning strike in August had a heart scan and ECG monitor fitted yesterday. The heart scan looked good and the monitor will stay on until Thursday when it will be sent for analysing. We will hopefully know the results in 10 days.
