Champion Chase runs today at Plumpton

Plumpton is probably not an ideal track for Champion Chase but he does have a reasonable record there with three seconds from five runs.  Hoping the ground has enough ease in it today for Champion Chase who runs back over fences.  Rain is forecast at 2pm onwards, we run at 5pm so hopefully the ground will be on the soft side of good.  Today he will have first time blinkers on which have made a positive difference on him at home.  Good luck Team

Traffic problems in a quick race over 7f.......

Yesterday at Lingfield, Helfire was drawn badly - draw 8 of 10 runners in a fast race where they did not come back to her....... the first three throughout the race finished in that order.  She came from 12 lengths last to 6th in the final two furlongs trying to cut through gaps that kept closing on her..... three times she got stopped in the home straight!  In the final 1/2 furlong she was a running on 6th beaten 5 1/4 lengths, a race to put behind us..... She would have done more work at home!  Providing she is well in herself she may have another outing back at Lingfield on Wednesday over the mile.

Midnight Jitterbug 3rd at Taunton

Improved run from Midnight Jitterbug over hurdles, ridden in behind the leaders and traveled well until outpaced 2f out.  He jumped well and although lightly raced he looked professional throughout.  A pleasing run whereby we learnt even more about him.  He has come out of the race a very happy horse.
