Great news that owners are now able to go racing although and understandably only two people per horse. Such strange times and horse racing is showing that we can carry on with life as long as we follow the COVID-19 guidelines.

Oliver Timms (from the Bosley Academy) had his first ride on the flat last Tues as a professional jockey at Leicester. He finished 7th of 12 in an unusual race and confusing for a first time rider where the start was a tape start, no stalls due to the stalls handlers deciding that it was too risky to work in Leicester which was in ‘lockdown‘. All went well and Ollie put his horse in the race giving it every chance if it was good enough was actually an improved run for the horse! What thrill for Ollie and his dream turned into reality. Well done Ollie.

We sent two horses last week to Kempton, Olympic Legend and 2 yr old Sennen for experience and change of environment. They went well and for Sennen this was his first canter away...... so important for his mental experience. It was also very important for Olympic Legend as he has had over two years off the track!
