Catheadans Fiyah ran satisfactory on Wednesday at Kempton, went into second two out until fading inside the final furlong. Unfortunately, she pulled too hard, went too free for the first three furlongs (choke was out!) and with the race being 6f she was going to hit the stamina wall before the finish. This was only her fifth career race and having never 'buzzed her up' at home this was a little bit of a surprise but then her full sister is much the same and it had to come out sooner than later....... the sprinting genes have now appeared! It was a competitive race and the form could be strong. The form of her previous race, when 3rd after a break has worked out well and the fourth placed horse won last night! Over the next few weeks there's not much for her over the 5f so will have to be patient.... Onwards and upwards.
