Weather - 0 degrees, 4 inches of snow and still snowing lightly at 08:54 hrs

This morning - 4 inches of snow and more to come!

Catheadans Gift has her second career outing tomorrow at Kempton..... weather permitting!

Providing the roads are safe and Kempton has managed to keep the snow off the track we are hoping to run Catheadans Gift over 7f at Kempton with George Wood on board.  She is working well at home and has sharpened up since her debut run in May.   Unfortunately we do not have the best draws tomorrow but it could be worse!   Providing she gets a good break and can sit handy she will show a good account of herself for most of the race.  There are some expensive types in her race but none will be more mentally tough than she is.....she's more colt than filly!   If she stays the distance and finishes in the first 7 we will be delighted.

Midnight Jitterbug had a non event at Uttoxeter.......

The ground was not to his liking last Saturday at Uttoxeter and pulled up 2 out.  He and many others throughout the day found it too deep.  They do 'over race' at Uttoxeter and the ground never really recovers especially when its soft.  He did not have a hard race and will hopefully be back out soon, on better ground..... providing the snow goes!
